Thomas Rankin was born and raised in Northern Illinois, began playing piano at the age of four and began writing music at the age of 12.

He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition and has written for documentaries and short films while also producing electronic dance music.

Thomas currently resides in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
